Emergency Home Repair
Our Home insurance features a range of benefits, such as Emergency Home Repair which includes:
- 24hr access to a network of approved contractors for emergency repairs.
- Qualifying policyholders are covered for four call-outs in any one policy year, up to €260 per call-out.
- Home Emergency call-outs do not impact a policyholder’s No Claims Discount.
If the cost of the repairs exceeds €260, the customer can opt to pay the balance or submit a claim. Emergency Home Repair cover only applies to policies with both Buildings and Contents cover.
A Multi-policy Benefit
If your customer has a motor, van or bike policy with Liberty Insurance, they can enjoy a preferential rate when purchasing a home policy.
We’ll also give your customer the discount if their spouse or partner has a policy with us, and vice versa.
Loss of Rent and the Cost of Alternative Accommodation
If a customer of yours cannot live in their home because of loss or damage caused by any of the insured risks, we will pay, A) the amount of rent they would have received if their home was let or, B) the reasonable cost of renting similar accommodation for the period they cannot live in their home.
We will not pay more than 15% of the Buildings sum insured.
Other Home Insurance Advantages
Fire Brigade Charges up to €2,000
The last thing your customer wants to worry about when they’ve had a fire at their house is fire brigade charges. We’ll pay up to €2,000 as a result of an incident insured by their Home insurance policy.
New-for-Old
In the event of a Home insurance claim, if your customer's belongings cannot be repaired, we'll cover the cost of replacing them with brand new ones.
Electric Vehicle Charging Points
We will cover accidental damage to your customer’s home electric vehicle charging point once installed within the boundaries of their home.
