Full Cycle Electronic Data Interchange

At Liberty Insurance, we are committed to continually investing in technology to improve the trading experience for our brokers. 

In January of 2019, we have commenced the roll-out of Full Cycle Data Interchange for Commercial Vehicle (CV) New Business. We are delighted to announce that from the 1st of September 2020, we will begin the migration of CV Renewal Business to Full Cycle EDI. This development means that Liberty Insurance will be the first insurer in the Irish market to be trading on Full Cycle EDI (insurer hosted pricing) EDI for Private Motor, Home and Commercial Vehicle for both New Business and Renewals.

Please note that during this first stage of the roll-out for Renewals, the Full Cycle EDI functionality will only be operable for any policies incepted on Full Cycle EDI and is only available on vans up to 3,500kg GVW. However, the next phase of the roll-out will include legacy policies and Mid-Term Adjustments. Policies covering HGV’s, Special Type vehicles or Tractors will continue to be issued manually.
